Scrum Method: History, Functions & How it Works

  1. The initial stage in starting to implement the Scrum method is to determine team members. Usually, the team members are no more than 510 people. Keep the number of members as effective and efficient as possible.
  2. Determine processing time, In addition, there is a so-called sprint in project management. The sprint itself is a series of jobs performed to solve problems, especially the development of new products. Once you have found the team, the next step in executing the Scrum method is to set the time, or sprint, to execute it. The sprint usually takes 7 to 30 days.
  3. Define your role in the team For optimal functioning, teams must have a structure and their respective roles so that they do not overlap. Team members typically play an important role in project management. This role is the Scrum Master. According to Solstice, it is also called the project manager. The Scrum Master ensures a smooth and proper project flow. The next role in the implementation of the Scrum method is the product owner, who is responsible for ensuring that the products produced are of the desired quality.
  4. Collection of various problems The next step is to collect the various things that are retrieved in the field. In project management, this is called the backlog. These various issues or backlogs are collected and prioritized for work.
  5. Start a sprint You can start the sprint as soon as you have completed all the steps. Running a sprint can cause problems and other backlogs. Tell the product owner if the backlog can be implemented in this sprint or the next sprint.
